Managing property definitions

PolyWorks® objects can have user-defined properties. To ensure consistency of values, PolyWorks|DataLoop™ supports property definitions.

These definitions contain the name of the property and some constraints that will be enforced by client applications like PolyWorks|Inspector™ and PolyWorks|DataLoop™ Inspection Forms.

These constraints include the default value, possible values, as well as the visibility and requirement of the property value. More details are available here.

PolyWorks|DataLoop™ API provides endpoints to manage your property definitions.

Please note that the association between a property and a definition is not editable through PolyWorks|DataLoop API.
